Royal Music is a well-established music school with over 25 years of experience in teaching and nurturing musical talent. As part of their 25th anniversary, the school wanted to refresh its digital presence to better reflect its vibrant learning environment and creative spirit.
I redesigned and built the Royal Music website from scratch, transforming the old website into a modern, fun, and engaging platform with bright tones that resonate with students, parents, and music enthusiasts alike.

The previous website did not represent Royal Music’s energy, creativity, or long-standing reputation as a music school.
The design felt outdated, visually dull, and text-heavy, making it difficult for users to quickly understand the school’s offerings.
Navigation was unclear, user flow was weak, and the website failed to connect emotionally with its audience.
For a 25-year milestone, the school needed a complete redesign that felt fresh, youthful, and inviting while still maintaining trust and credibility.

The research phase was a key foundation for the Royal Music website redesign. I began by analyzing the existing website to identify gaps in usability, visual appeal, and clarity, which made it clear that a complete redesign was needed.
A significant part of the research involved exploring design inspiration from music schools, creative learning platforms, and youth-focused brands to understand how color, layout, and visual storytelling can express energy and creativity.
At the same time, I focused on aligning the design with Royal Music’s core values and brand identity—balancing its 25-year legacy with a fun, bright, and modern personality.
By studying the school’s audience, teaching philosophy, and long-term vision, I ensured that the vibrant visuals remained structured, trustworthy, and easy to navigate, resulting in a design direction that felt both engaging and authentic to the brand.
