Kyamme is a high-vetting job platform designed exclusively for experienced professionals. The platform focuses on quality over quantity, offering carefully curated opportunities such as full-time roles, gigs, bounties, and expert consultations. My role was to design the core user flows and interfaces that make discovering and applying to these opportunities simple, fast, and intuitive, while maintaining the platform’s premium and trustworthy positioning.

Most job platforms overwhelm users with irrelevant listings and complicated application flows, especially for senior professionals. For a vetted platform like Kyamme, the challenge was twofold:
clearly communicate trust, credibility, and exclusivity through design, and
reduce friction in navigation and applications without compromising the multiple vetting processes involved. Users needed clarity on where they stand, what they are eligible for, and how to move forward confidently.

To inform Kyamme’s design, I studied leading job and freelance platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, Fiverr, Upwork, Toptal, and other high-traffic sites.
I focused on how experienced professionals search for opportunities, evaluate listings, and complete applications, as well as how platforms build trust and credibility—especially those with selective vetting processes like Toptal.
Insights from competitor navigation, filtering, and application flows highlighted the importance of clarity, transparency, and efficiency, guiding Kyamme’s design to enable fast discovery, clear eligibility indicators, and a smooth yet secure multi-step application experience for vetted professionals.
